(I initially wrote "big" before "game" and then deleted it. At this point in the season, it's kinda redundant).
Purnell said he was pleased with practice yesterday, a day after a disappointing home loss to Virginia Tech.
The biggest culprit in the defeat was tons of missed shots from close-range by Trevor Booker and Demontez Stitt, but it's not like they spent hours focusing on 4-foot shots yesterday. Some nights, the shots just don't fall.
Purnell said the Tigers spent the practice "really focusing on ourselves." He said today's practice would be devoted to Florida State.
