Bobby Bowden is still complaining about the NCAA's decision to swipe some of his victories.
Now he's saying this is the product of a grudge:
Florida State coach Bobby Bowden said the NCAA's intention to nullify some of his victories because of an academic cheating scandal is ''unfair'' and said that the NCAA ``might not like us because we didn't change our name from Seminoles.''
This columnist says Florida coach Urban Meyer is one thin-skinned Gator.
Speaking of Meyer, he says he isn't headed to Notre Dame, thank you very much. And the (visored) man who stirred up that notion says it must be a slow news summer.
Speaking of pot-stirring coaches...
Here's a little piece on Kyle Parker in The Sporting News.
Good column on former Georgia Tech QB Donnie Davis, a former Parade All-American who was deemed the successor to Shawn Jones.
And Mark Schlabach gives his latest Top 25.
